Tunisia

Tunisia seems to be one of the few countries around the world to have escaped relatively unscathed from the global financial crisis which is affecting so many other developed and developing economies around the world.

Gross Domestic Product in 2008 is estimated to have increased by 23.53% from the 2007 figures; in real terms an increase in GDP growth from 5.1% in 2007 to 6.3% is expected in 2008 (Source: CIA World Factbook).
