Property has held its value in Malta remarkably well over the years.  Even though the growth in property values, especially as regards apartments in Malta, has slowed in the period 2005 - 2007 from a height of ovr 20% in 2004 to as little as 1.1% in 2007 there have been few drops in prices and the market for houses of distinction remains robust.
