Property in Turkey is looking ever more attractive

Gradually we are seeing more and more low-cost airline routes opening into Turkey and the latest to announce a new one is Flyglobespan. From next May (2009) they will be adding a route from Aberdeen to Dalaman during the peak summer months.

For property investors and even holiday homeowners in the region this is great news as the more accessible a market becomes the more property values can be expected to climb. Whilst Aberdeen is not the centre of the universe for us all this move means that the airline now offers 3 direct flights to Dalaman every week from its airports in Edinburgh, Glasgow and now Aberdeen.

Turkish property has become that much more popular with investors and lifestyle buyers in recent months as the Euro has put some other European properties out of reach of the budgets some buyers had allocated for their properties. This, combined with the regular announcements of new air routes opening into the country, has prompted increasing numbers of investors and home buyers to look at Turkey as a realistic option for their property purchase decisions.
