Utilities and Telephone Services in Morocco

Telephones.

 

Privately run Teleboutiques can be found through Morocco. There is an attendant who will provide change, phone cards and advice.

 

Television.

 

Radio-television Marocaine (RTM) is state run, while 2M is only partly state owned. Al Maghribiya, a satellite operated by RTM and 2M is aimed at Moroccans living overseas.

 

Mobile phones.

 

Roaming agreements exist with some international mobile phone companies. Coverage is mainly available in cities in the West Country.

 

Internet.

 

Internet access is widely available in business centres, hotels and internet cafes.

 

Electricity

 

127/220 volts AC, 50 Hz, depending on the age of the building.
