Education in Bulgaria

As Bulgaria has only recently entered the EU the country's government is working on ensuring that all children of Bulgaria have access to free education, and to ensure this education is both well structured and meets a high standard.

There are a number of English or German language schools available. There are not many available websites with information on education so it is worth contacting either the Bulgarian embassy or the Ministry of Education and Science.

Even though Bulgaria entered the EU in 2007, it will take some time for changes to happen in this area. Once this has occurred this information will be up dated accordingly
