Pet Care and Travel in St Lucia

Most towns and cities do have adequate veterinary surgeons, before travel it may be wise to locate the nearest to you. Currently pets can only be brought in from the UK. US travellers wishing to bring pets to St Lucia must have them quarantined for 6 months in the UK enroute to St Lucia.

If your pet is insured, check with your insurance provider to whether or not you’re pet is covered outside the UK, and what procedure you should take when needing to make a claim abroad.

The Pet Travel Scheme (PETS) is the system that allows pet dogs, cats and ferrets to travel to and from certain countries.
