Pet Travel to Cape Verde

It is recommended that you do not take any pets with you to Cape Verde. This is because there have been a large amount of cases where peoples pets are being either kidnapped or murdered. If you do however decide to take your pet with you the following information may be of use.
Most towns and cities do have adequate veterinary surgeons, before you travel it may be wise to locate the nearest to you.
If your pet is insured, check with your insurance provider as to whether or not you’re pet is covered outside the UK, and what procedure you should take when needing to make a claim abroad.
