Kranevo is a nice little village situated in a sheltered bay along the North Black Sea coast. Kranevo is 25km north of the city of Varna. Golden Sands is 8 km away and Albena is 2 km to the north.
Kranevo has a large beach, clean sea, gently sloping sea bottom and curative mineral water. Kranevo is known as a resort for children, with children vacation camps here. The summer season in Kranevo begins in May and ends in October. The climate is moderate continental with a summer temperature between 24°C-28°C and an average sea temperature of 24.7 °C. The steep cape called Kaliakra with the famous romantic legend about forty ‘maidens’ committing suicide in the name of Christianity is also not far away.
