Pag is an island in the North Dalmatian region. The island of Pag is accessible by the Pag Bridge from Cape Osjak on the mainland, and is connected by ferry services as well. The larger settlements on the island Pag are; Pag town, Novalja, Stara Novalja, Lun and Caska. The southwest coast of Pag is flat, the northeast coast is high and steep and is where Pag bay and Stara Novalja bay are located.  Zrce is a long pebbled beach, close to the town of Novalja. Zrce beach is surrounded by woods through which paths lead to the beach. The beach is popular and with locals as well as visitors. Pag island is also well known for producing a famous cheese from Croatia.
