Flights to and around Cape Verde

The national airline is TACV www.tacv.cv which has flights from several
European cities. Information can be obtained from TACV’s agent Cape Verde Travel www.capeverdetravel.com.The growth in air travel to Cape Verde has resulted in a number of international charter and scheduled flights being put into regular operation, including those flown by Astraeu swww.flyastraeus.com, Tui Fly, Thompson Fly, NEOS, Livingston, TAP, SATA, Hamburg International and Air Mediteranee.

TACV – Cabo Verde Airlines www.tacv.cv  is the main domestic carrier. There are internal flights available to all inhabited islands except Brava and San Antao. Private charters are available from the Cape Verde Express air-taxi service www.capeverdeexpress.com.

Main Airports are
Amílcar Cabral on Sal, is 2km South of Espargos
Praia International Airport on Santiago, has flights from Paris, Amsterdam and Lisbon.

International airports are under construction on the islands of St Vincent and Boa Vista, due to open 2007-2008.
